Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on, highly skilled, and security-conscious IT Manager to lead and oversee our U.S.-based business services and IT infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient IT operations for our government-focused programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding the IT needs of the LMT U.S. business operations, ensuring compliance with external IT security requirements, and developing and maintaining a cost-effective IT environment that supports business goals.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic IT Leadership
  • Understand and assess the IT needs of LMT U.S. business operations.
  • Align IT infrastructure and services with business goals, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective IT solutions that meet operational and regulatory demands.

Infrastructure & Systems Management
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 GCC High and Azure environments.
  • Administer and optimize virtual machines across cloud and on-premises platforms.
  • Oversee IT ticketing systems to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
  • Manage firewall configurations and monitor network security.
  • Implement and maintain file per-missioning protocols to ensure data integrity and access control.

Security & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with NIST, DFARS, and CMMC requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain SIEM tools; respond to cybersecurity threats and conduct tabletop exercises.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Compliance teams to uphold security standards.

Vendor & Support Oversight
  • Manage third-party support providers and vendor relationships.
  • Oversee licensing and service agreements for GCC High services.
  • Lead day-to-day IT operations and support activities.

User Support & Policy Development
  • Provide technical support and resolve complex user issues.
  • Develop, enforce, and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation in alignment with Luxfer corporate requirements.
 
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in managing secure IT environments, preferably within government or defense-related industries.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 GCC High, Azure, virtual machines, firewalls, and IT ticketing systems.
  • Familiarity with NIST, DFARS, and CMMC compliance standards.
  • Experience with file per-missioning and access control best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also leading initiatives independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).

Work Pattern

  • The role requires flexibility to meet the needs of the business which may include extended hours, or occasionally night/weekend work.
