This role demands a proactive approach to communication, flexibility in planning, and a keen eye for detail, ensuring all planning changes are communicated with actionable alternatives.
What You'll Be Doing: Production Planner
- Craft and communicate master schedules that align with our ambitious goals.
- Spearhead inventory management and ensure the accuracy of every cycle count.
- Generate insightful performance reports that guide decision-making.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of stakeholders, harmonizing demand and supply with finesse.
- Lead the charge in managing subcontractor relationships, ensuring only the best for Luxfer.
- Be a beacon of knowledge and training, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.
- Embrace and promote the principles of Luxfer’s lean manufacturing BEST module, driving efficiencies that resonate throughout the company.
- Solid grounding in Maths, English, and Science (GCSEs grade C-A* or 4-9).
- A degree that speaks to your expertise in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- A track record of turning data into actionable insights.
- A wizard in Microsoft Office and other IT platforms, with exceptional numerical prowess.
- Excellent communication skills, alongside an assertive and professional demeanour.
- A self-starter who thrives under pressure, boasting impeccable time management skills.
- Hands-on experience in a planning/MRP role and competency in SAP within a planning framework.

- Ready to tackle challenges head-on, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to go the extra mile (or weekend).
- 37 hours of ground breaking work per week, with flexibility to meet business needs.
