Summary:

The Atomizer Lead will safely operate equipment, adhering to Health & Safety policy and procedures, to deliver Magnesium to our customers' specifications.  Monitor processes, performs required measurements and tests, monitors the operation of equipment, and sets equipment controls in maintaining right-first time quality products.  Documents production and production processes by digitally entering data, completing production log sheets, recording receipt and usage of raw materials, and calculating material usage. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Monitor performance and adjust.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to lead team of two others through start up, production, and shut down.
  • Ability to troubleshoot operational issues.
  • Comfortable making improvised planning.
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to effectively handle multiple tasks (simultaneously) in a dynamic and challenging environment.
  • Able to work safely using tools and equipment.
  • Able to operate a forklift and Overhead Crane
  • Track, schedule and complete preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Train team members.
  • Maintain a positive attitude.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED. 
  • 0 – 3 Years working in manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a team. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively participate in cross functional teams.

Work Pattern
  • 40 hours per week
  • The role requires flexibility to meet the needs of the business which may include extended hours, or occasionally night/weekend work.
